Application Process

  • The application process for then-current sophomores will begin in the fall of applicants’ sophomore year. The fellowship will start the following January. Class 4 recruiting will begin in October 2022 and conclude on November 30. The fellowship will begin in January 2023.

  • Applicants are asked to submit an application that includes short answers, short essays, a video essay (optional), and two recommendations.

  • Applicants will be selected based on their interest in STEM subjects and in learning more about potential STEM careers. Those applying for a future class should demonstrate their passion for STEM by taking STEM classes in school, pursuing extracurriculars and hobbies in STEM subjects, and coming up with other creative ways to explore the world of STEM!
